Charity Bowls 4 Fun Day - 31st August 2025

Charity Day is on Sunday 31st August from 11am onwards but please be at the club by 10.30am for checking in.

There will be a BBQ and prize giving to follow the game.

We will also have a grand raffle and spider with the winner of the

Opposite Hand Spider receiving a bottle of whisky……..yes Opposite Hand!

This year we will be having a 4321 team competition playing 3 sets of 6 ends with 3 or 4 in a team depending on numbers with teams moving rinks after each 6 ends. We will be playing for our new Bowls 4 Fun trophy. So please bring a minimum of 3 bowls with you if playing.

You won’t want to miss this special day a highlight of our club year so please add your name to the list on the clubs notice as we need to know numbers for catering purposes. The list will come down on Saturday 23rd August after coaching so that we can allocate teams…….Please also if possible supply a suitable prize for the grand raffle, but please no toiletries!

Spider - Game & BBQ - £7.50 per person. If not playing it’s just £5.

Raffle tickets available on the door & during the day with a chance to win some great prizes.

This year the dress code is:

Red White & Blue but strictly NO club shirts.

There will be a prize for the most colourful outfit but for health & safety reasons the names of the judges will be kept secret!
